League of Legends Arena 2024 is ending in a couple of weeks, so you can enjoy the game mode for a few more days. Arena was initially introduced with the Soul Fighters summer event back in season 13.
The mode became incredibly popular at the time and Riot introduced it with a fair number of updates at the start of season 13 this year. Arena was live for a much longer time in 2024, however, as it’s a temporary game mode Riot was eventually going to take it out of rotation.
Here is everything you need to know about Season 14 Arena’s end date.
When is League of Legends Arena S14 coming to an end?

League of Legends season 14 Arena will be coming to an end on September 27, 2024, right after patch 14.19 goes live. The game mode was originally set to end on September 10, 2024, however, Riot extended the period by 2 more weeks.
Here is when Arena will be ending for each of the LoL regional servers:
- West Coast U.S.: 6 PM PT
- East Coast U.S.: 8 PM CT
- EU West: 3 AM CET
- EU East: 4 AM MSK
- Korea: 10 AM KST (Thursday, Sept. 26)
- China: 9 AM CST (Thursday, Sept. 26)
- Oceania: 11 AM AEDT (Thursday, Sept. 26)
One of the major reasons why Riot is shelving LoL Arena at this point of the season is because of the looming preseason. Pearson 15 will kick off in early December and in the patches leading up to it, the developers will be introducing massive balance updates.
Moreover, Arena is never likely going to be a permanent mode, according to Riot Sopebox, who explained in July,
“We sent [Arena] out, saw where players wanted to engage, then brought it back to the lab. Our goal’s to get it to that point where it’s sustainable long term.”
League of Legends Arena will be returning again in Season 15 with even more changes and gameplay updates.
