The introduction of the LTA has introduced significant changes to both the North and South American professional League of Legends scene. In 2025, the new format will combine the two major competitions under one banner and will be divided into splits.
Below is everything that you need to know about the LTA format, along with the Split 2 schedule, results, teams, and standings.
League of Legends LTA 2025 Split 1 format, explained
With Split 1, all the teams that are participating in the LTA are looking to gain that one spot in the League of Legends 2025 First Stand event. Moreover, the competition will be split into the Northern and Southern conferences. During the Split One LTA 2025 Playoffs, only the top four teams from each of the conferences will be chosen, they will then duke it out against each other in order to secure their spot in First Stand.
The four teams from each conference will be chosen after they go through a double-elimination bracket. A total of eight teams will participate in each group, so only half of them will be making Split 1 playoffs.
To make the competition even more exciting, the games will feature a Fearless Draft so it will be interesting to see the sort of draft combinations that the teams come up with.
