Wuchang Fallen Feathers is finally out for PCs, and by extension, all handheld gaming devices – such as Valve’s trusty Steam Deck console. Unfortunately, the game can be a bit too demanding for the Deck, owing to poor optimization and rather inflated PC system requirements.
While you can most certainly ‘play’ Wuchang Fallen Feathers on the Steam Deck, it is not going to be a pleasant experience. Expect frequent frame rate drops and such from the Deck.
Regardless, a set of ‘optimized’ settings will be listed below for reference, aiming to squeeze out as much performance as possible.

Expect about an hour of battery life for the original, LCD version of the Steam Deck. Those with the Steam Deck OLED can expect about 2+ hours instead.
As far as performance is concerned, the game is barely playable. It frequently dips below 30 FPS, especially in combat-heavy scenarios. The game also looks quite terrible at this preset, and isn’t generally recommended to play on the Deck.
Perhaps future patches will address the issue.
