The First Descendant PC system requirements: Minimum & recommended specs explored

The First Descendant is the new free-to-play game from Nexon which you can play on PCs. Before diving in, you must know its system requirements with the minimum and recommended specs so that you can prep your rig accordingly.

Nexon is marketing their new game as a next-generation looter shooter. You get to play it from a third-person perspective and is fully powered by Unreal Engine 5. This means the graphics are going to be crisp with fast movements, the unique abilities of different characters, and a lot of action.

So, here’s a rundown of The First Descendant’s minimum and recommended specs.

The recommended system requirements should be enough to get 144 fps at 1080p. And if you want to crank up the resolution to 1440p and get playable frames per second at the same, you can do that too.

However, if you want to play at max settings at 4K resolution, you’ll be better off with a beefier system, perhaps a rig that rocks a 3080 or even a 4080 Super.

The graphics quality will be automatically set when you turn on the game for the first after it determines your PC specifications. You can always manually change the settings later.

Thankfully, the system requirements for The First Descendant aren’t too demanding. This means even if you have an older system with maybe a GTX 1060, you’re pretty much good to go.
