The PS5 Pro has been announced and the pre-orders are up for all regions. Here’s how and where to get one for yourself based on your location.
A reason that makes the PS5 Pro a worthy update is its ability to provide better performance and upscaling, ensuring smooth 60 frames on certain games, something that the base PlayStation 5 can’t provide. So, if you’re someone who wants to take the plunge and pre-order the new console, here’s how to do it.
How to pre-order a PS5 Pro
Starting September 26, 2024, the best way to pre-order the PS5 Pro is from PlayStation Direct. However, you can expect the stocks to get over pretty soon, especially after the announcement of the 30th Anniversary Bundles.
However, as we move closer to the release date of the console, you can get it from other retail stores too including Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy to name a few.

How much does the PS5 Pro cost?
Officially, the PS5 Pro is priced at $700. For the UK and European regions, you can get it for £700 or €800. This price is for the console only and the cost will be higher if you decide to get the vertical stand and the disc drive.
The PS5 Pro will be a digital-only console, just like the PS5 Slim. You can attach a separate disc drive for $79,99. And if you prefer to keep the console vertically to save space, the stand will cost you another $29,99. So, in total, it will cost you about $810 if you want the full experience.
The PlayStation 5 Pro console officially hits the market on November 7, 2024. So, at the time of writing, you have approximately six weeks to pre-order this mid-console refresh.
The limited edition bundle of the console, however, costs $999.99 or £959.99 and will be released on November 21, 2024.
The bundle includes a limited edition console, a DualSense Edge wireless controller, a regular DualSense wireless controller, a DualSense Charging Station, a Console Cover for the Disc Drive, and a Vertical Stand.
