Evasive Infusion is a buff item that you can craft and consume to get yourself out of a tricky situation in RuneScape Dragonwilds. It’s one of the best survival tools in the RPG, which will let you avoid some of the most difficult encounters that you will often stumble upon while exploring Ashenfall.
So if you are looking to have an easier time with exploration as you make your way through the various areas and vaults, then the guide below will help you out.
How to craft Evasive Infusion in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To make an Evasive Infusion, you will need the following ingredients:
- 2x Clean Water/4x Dirty Water
- 1x Small Animal Fang
Once you have the ingredients, you will then need to use a CookingPot to make the item. You will be able to unlock the recipe for the Cooking Pot as soon as you pick up Animal Bones. So it’s one of the crafting stations that you will be able to unlock very early on by killing the farm animals that are near the Mill right in the starting zone.

Evasive Infusion effects and use in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To use the Evasive Infusion, you will need to select it from your inventory and then consume it. Once you do, your character will have the cost of their Dodge ability significantly reduced. The effect will last for 300 seconds, and you can prematurely end the effect of the infusion if you die or rest overnight. So keep this in mind when you are using any infusion in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
The Evasive Infusion will let you have a much easier time escaping encounters that you know you won’t win. It’s easy to stumble upon very difficult enemies when exploring Ashenfall.
Vaults, especially, are very difficult challenges, and talking in the Guardians is no easy feat. However, you will need to complete these dungeons to gain rare crafting resources like the Vault Shards and Cores. It’s in situations like these that the Evasive Infusion becomes extremely handy.
How to extend the effect duration of the Evasive Infusion in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To be able to extend the effect duration of the Evasive Infusion (or any infusion for that matter), you will want to gain access to the Internal Alchemy Spell, which unlocks after you reach Cooking Level 20.
When you use Internal Alchemy, you will be able to reset the timer on any active Food and Drink buffs that you have active on your character. The spell has a 200-second cooldown, but as the Evasive Infusion buffs last for 300 seconds, you will be able to keep this effect active at all times as long as you have the resources to cast the spell.
To use the spell, you will need to have unlocked a Rune Altar and power it with 10x Nature Runes. While it might seem like a hefty price to pay, the benefits that the spells provide are very much worth it. This is because the Evasive Infusion does not reset the timer for just one buff. It resets every single buff timer that is currently active on your character.
