How to unlock the Steel Soul Mode in Hollow Knight Silksong
To unlock the Steel Soul Mode in Hollow Knight Silksong, here is what you will need to do:
1) Complete the Game Once
The first thing you will need to do is to complete the narrative once. This means beating the game and rolling the credits scene, this can be done at the end of Act 2 or at the end of Act 3, if you were able to unlock it.
2) Entering the Konami Code in the Extras Menu
Once you have been able to complete the narrative, the next thing you will need to do is to enter the Konami code in the Extras Menu. This is the code that you will need to type in with the directional keys:

Once you have typed in the correct code, there will be a brief white flash, which will occur right after. This will indicate that the Steel Soul Mode has been unlocked for your game.

Similar to how the Steel Soul mode was in the original Hollow Knight game, this difficulty setting will have permadeath and will require you to complete the entire game without dying even once.
This makes things incredibly more difficult for completionists, as there are two trophies tied to Silksong. Seeing and doing everything without dying even once is incredibly difficult and even veteran players are likle going to struggle to complete it.
