We all have that one Deadlock character whom we absolutely hate laning against. Whether it is Apollo’s early game aggression or McGinnis’ turrets, nothing turns off the mood more than finding out that you are being pitted against someone you consider to be the worst piece of scum in existence
And while all of that is restricted to the gameplay experience for the most part, this is not the case with one particular character. Meet Lash, the most hated Deadlock character of all time.
His ultimate ability is incredibly annoying to deal with, and fans who follow his lore consider him an absolutely arrogant narcissist. Lash is a popular champion among the underground fighting ring of Cursed Apple, called the Bear Pit. There, he has built his reputation up to being a very unlikable, self-centered prick.
Lash only has one rival, whom he absolutely hates
Lash has now taken to the streets, fighting for his place in the summoning ritual to fulfill his own goals. We do not know what he is exactly seeking with his wish, but we are damn sure that he has something in mind for the patrons.
Being the most narcissistic character out of the whole Deadlock roster, he always refers to himself while talking to others as ‘The Lash’, and sometimes even goes as far as to consider himself ‘God’s Gift to Combat.’ Now, with that kind of attitude, you might have already guessed that there are many in the Deadlock universe who hate tolerating him.
The scrap golem Bebop is Lash’s biggest rival, who is also a fighter from the underground fighting ring. Both have beaten each other at least once in the ring, but the feud is not over, as both refuse to elaborate on why they hate each other so much.
Lash is afraid of crossing paths with Vyper
According to the official lore behind the character, Lash can count at least 87 reasons as to why he is better than Bebop. Due to his personality, he is also prudent in making sure that women are appalled by him because he keeps trying to flirt with some of them while he is in the middle of the ritual.
But not everything about him is repulsive; Lash’s reputation might be saved by his fabulous mustache. Characters like Billy, Kelvin, Venator, and even Lady Giest complement the man’s facial hair.
One fun fact about Lash is that, while he might hate Bebop, he is someone who is usually unfazed and harbors no positive or negative feelings for the rest of the Deadlock cast. Except for Vyper, who has a terrifying obsession with him. And after he found out that she watched him sleep and kept sending him letters, he is now genuinely scared to cross her path.
