Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance PC download size and system requirements

Shin Megami Tensei 5 returns in the form of SMT5: Vengeance for the first time ever on non-Nintendo hardware, such as the PC. As is the norm with most PC releases, Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance has a long list of system requirements that must be kept in mind when playing the game.

Unlike the base SMT5 game that was released on the Nintendo Switch, however, Vengeance brings with it the option for increased visual fidelity – provided you possess the requisite hardware.

A breakdown of these Shin Megami Tensei 5 PC system requirements can be found detailed below, for both minimum and recommended configurations.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance PC system requirements

SMT5 Vengeance seems to scale well with modern PC hardware and does not possess any outrageous system requirements – which is to be expected, given the game’s origin as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. The game’s system requirements are as follows, courtesy of the official Steam store page for the same:

Minimum

  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or newer
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-6350
  • RAM: 6 GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti or an AMD Radeon HD 7750 (1 GB VRAM for either model)
  • DirectX: Version 12

This configuration has been noted to be suitable for 720p gameplay at 30 FPS, low settings.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit or newer
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or newer
  • RAM: 8 GB or higher
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or an AMD Radeon R9 380 (4 GB VRAM for either model) or newer
  • DirectX: Version 12

This spec is recommended for 1080p gameplay at 60 FPS, high settings.

Additionally, the game requires a total of approximately 30 GB of free space for the download. As always, while an HDD is supported, SSDs remain the recommended option of choice – given their superior read/write speeds that are essential for playing any modern AAA game.
