As you follow the narrative in The First Descendant and finally meet Bunny you will unlock her personal quest line which will make you follow the traces of her parents. Bunny is currently one of the best Descendants in the game and with the popularity that she is seeing in the pre-season, there will be many who will try to get her and complete her quest as soon as possible.
However, there is more to her questline than what meets the eye. The missions are a bit tricky to complete and will make you go all over various regions searching for records.
Here is a guide on how you will be able to easily complete Bunny’s questline in The First Descendant.
Note: You will only be able to complete her questline if you play as Bunny as the chosen Descendant.

How to complete Bunny’s “Follow Their Traces” quest in The First Descendant
To complete Bunny’s quest you will need to find her parent’s records which are on the edge of a cliff to the south of the Restricted Zone. You will then have to go through the records to learn more about Bunny’s background and what exactly happened to her parents.
If you are looking to round out this mission, here are a few things that you will be required to do:
1) Make your way to the Restricted Zone
You will gain access to the Restricted Zone in the Sterile Lands after you have completed the Successful Infiltration quest for Sharen. This mission is a part of the main quest line, and you will come across it after a couple of hours of play.
Once you head there you will need to get to the edge of the cliff which is close to the facility. You will find a high-powered jammer there, so it’s pretty hard to miss the spot.
Along the south side of the cliff (directly southeast of the Restricted Zone spawn point) you will find the records on a data Pad. You can just walk up to the location and collect it. Once you do, you will obtain the “Emergency Communication Record – Agent Cayden Voltia”.
2) Read the records
Once you have her parent’s records you will now need to read them. You can do this by making your way to the Journal section in the main menu.
You will find the Records option here. Click on it and head to the Descendant tab to scroll through all the Descendant-related records in Nexon’s shooter.
The records you are looking for will be highlighted with a red exclamation mark. So just select and go through everything inside.
3) Learn more about Bunny
Once you read the record you will know that Bunny’s parents have been searching for a suspicious figure in the Sterile Lands. However, Bunny will interject here and state that such task of finding a suspicious person is not something that is usually assigned to her parents.
The mysterious figure seems to be moving goods around and her parents are not having the easiest time tracking the person down.
The record will also state that it was her mother who named her Bunny.
How to complete Bunny’s “The Traces Continue” quest in The First Descendant
The second part of Bunny’s quest line in The First Descendant is called “The Traces Continue”. It’s much shorter than the initiation mission, and here are a few things you can do to complete it:
- After completing “Follow Their Traces” you will notice that a signal is coming from a location that is close to the Ruins.
- It’s a void fragment that is on a higher altitude and to get there you will need to first gain access to Vesper. It’s a different region The First Descendant and you will need to play through the main questline to unlock it.
- Once you reach Vesper, you will need to make your way to the Ruins from where the beacon is coming.
- Now head to the gate of the Lumbar Yard, there is a big arch-like structure there. So use the grapple to reach the top to find the next set of records. Play it and learn more about Bunny and her parents.
How to complete Bunny’s “In search of the Relic” quest in The First Descendant
The third part of Bunny’s questline in The First Descendant is called “In search of the Relic”. To get this you will need to make your way to the Derelict Covert which is present in Echo Swamp.
This region too will unlock as you make your way through the main questline. Once you are in Derelict Covert make your way to the north of the region.
You will find a tall building there, so use the grapple to reach up using the wooden planks and platform around. It’s a pretty long climb but, once you reach the top you will find the record.
How to complete Bunny’s “Datachip Fragments” quest in The First Descendant
Head back to Anais in Albion, who will then ask you to look for Data Chip fragments. The next part of the quest will be to clear the Void Fusion Reactor in Vermillion Waste, Agna Desert. You will be able to start this boss encounter if you have 12x Organic Void Shard and 3x Inorganic Void Shard.
These materials can be found by destroying Void Fragments that are weak to fear. You will find these on the map, and use someone like Lepic to break them.
Void fragments have 3 stages when you start damaging them. You will be able to bring their HP down by 1/3 when their health bar goes invulnerable and you will need to clear out a group of enemies. Do this 3 times and you will have successfully destroyed the fragment and obtained the required materials to activate a Void Fusion Reactor.
Once you have the Data Chips you will need to follow the next quest marker to restore it.
How to complete Bunny’s “Security Bypass” quest in The First Descendant
Once you have restored the Data Chips you will need to make your way back to Albion and talk to Anais again for the next step of the mission. For the next part of Bunny’s questline, you will need to complete “Security Bypass.”
Head to White-night Gulch and then look for the Zero Recon Mission on the map. Head to the marker and then start the quest where you will have to destroy 4 tube-like objects that are circling the small area.
Enemies will spawn constantly till you destroy the objects, and once you have destroyed them, an elite boss will spawn. Take out the elite and you will have completed this part of the mission.
How to complete Bunny’s “Communications Tracking Component” quest in The First Descendant
Once you have completed “Security Bypass”, head back to Anais again, and this time she will ask you to defeat the Pyromaniac boss as a part of the “Communication Tracking Component ” Bunny questline.
The Pyromaniac has a level requirement of 66, so you will not be able to face him right away. Additionally, Void Intercept bosses are very difficult challenges. Make sure you are using a well-rounded party for the encounter.
You have a limit of 3 deaths, Wasting them all will force you to start the encounter all over again.
How to complete Bunny’s “The Final Coordinates” quest in The First Descendant
This is the final part of the questline. Talk to Anais again after beating the boss and she will tell you more about Bunny’s parent’s research. After you exhaust her dialogs you will need to embark on a mission to obtain the final set of records.
Talk to Anais again, and this time you will get the additional option of “Move to the Abandoned Magister Lab.”. This will start the “To Bunny, our Beloved Daughter” part of the quest. So head there, and complete the entire dungeon to obtain the final set of records.
Once you have them, come back to Anais to round out the quest.
Rounding out Bunny’s questline and rewards in the First Descendant
After you talk to Anais, the final part of the quest will be to talk to multiple NPCs in Albion including Gley, and Sharen.
The final NPC you talk to will be Alpha, and the conversation will be followed by a cutscene, where Bunny opens her helmet for the very first time in the game, and the rest of the Descendants surprise her with a cake to celebrate her birthday.
Unfortunately, there are no special rewards for completing the mission. After the cutscene is done, that is more-or-less it for Bunny’s questline.
