Most of the content available to players in Destiny 2 is simple, and you don’t require meta items to help you complete some of the activities that the game has to offer.
However, with the recent introduction of the Pantheon and the Zero Hour, the difficulty level has increased considerably.
The Pantheon will put you head to head against some of the most powerful Raid bosses in the game, with increased activity difficulty, while Zero Hour is a fan favorite Exotic mission that Bungie reprised once again.
One players took to the Destiny 2 forums to mention that the Zero Hour mission wasn’t as easy at all, to which Bungie replied that the mission wasn’t meant to be easy.

As it stands, Destiny 2 players have been divided about the power creep in the game, but the developers are looking to change it up.
The Outbreak Perfected mission does pose a significant challenge, and maintains its reputation of being one of the most difficult Exotic missions that the game has to offer.
This increased difficulty also indicates the possibility of The Final Shape Raid being a bit more difficult than normal as well.
Although Vow of The Disciple is considered to be a very difficult raid, it isn’t as difficult as Last Wish, which saw only 12 players getting a Day 1 clear. The Final Shape Raid is expected to see similar levels of difficulty.
The new raid goes live on June 7, 2024, three days after the release of Destiny 2: The Final Shape on June 4. Contest mode for the Raid will be available for the first 48 hours, and players who manage to complete it first within the given time frame, will be rewarded with the title of the World’s First.
Based on their response in the forums, it’s unlikely that Bungie will be looking to reduce the difficulty of the Outbreak Perfected Exotic mission in Destiny 2 anytime soon.
