A good weapon will help you fight off the zombie apocalypse allowing you to have a much easier time progressing through the narrative.
There are a lot of weapons that you can pick up in Dead Rails, and fortunately, not all of them are obtained as a drop from buildings, There are some that can be straight-up purchased.

Note: It’s not possible to obtain all the weapons in every round. This is because the span rates as well as the spawn points for most of them are random.
Best Dead Rails weapon if you are just starting out
If you are just starting out then we recommend that you pick up the Revolver from the Gunsmith. It’s incredibly reliable early on and will let you have an easier time progressing till you have enough money to upgrade to a Shotgun and then to perhaps a Mauser C96.
You can try getting more cash by selling all the junk that you pick up during exploration.
