Diablo 4 brings a new battle pass for Season 5, which contains cosmetics for you to unlock. There are over 90 levels of skins and mount cosmetics that you can unlock.

Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass price
- Premium: $10, contains all the premium tiers of the Battle Pass, allowing all cosmetic unlocks.
- Accelerated: $25, contains everything from the Premium tier, and includes 20 tier skips (Battle Pass level skips.)
There is a free tier too, but the cosmetic unlocks are limited to a large extent. Any gameplay-influencing items like Smoldering Ashes, however, are located on the free track only.

Smouldering Ashes and Seasonal Blessings
- Urn of Spoils – Boost the chance to receive a Legendary Item from Spoils of Hell chests, found while fighting Infernal Hordes.
- Urn of Abyssal Knowledge – Boost the chance to receive an Abyssal Scroll from Spoils of Hell chests, found while fighting the Infernal Hordes.
- The Urn of Aggression – Boosts experience earned from Monster kills.
- The Urn of Whispers – Boost the chance to receive a Greater Collection from Whisper rewards.
- The Urn of Nightmares – Boosts Paragon Glyph XP earned in Nightmare Dungeons.
You need to use Smoldering Ashes to unlock the bonuses that these Urns provide, and it’s important that you unlock them because they drastically influence your gameplay performance.
How to unlock Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass rewards
The Diablo 4 Season 5 Battle Pass is passive in nature, meaning for every action that you perform in the game, like killing monsters or completing missions, you’ll earn XP that will help you progress through the different tiers.
Alternatively, if you want to get your hands on the rewards early, then you can purchase tier skips with 200 Platinum, or you can also get the Accelerated Battle Pass with 20 free tier skips.
