Echo Modifier is a new item introduced in the Wuthering Waves 2.3 update. It allows players to change the main stat of an Echo.
This is one of the best items introduced in the game as farming for Echoes can get quite tedious. Having the option to get the right main stat for an Echo immediately is a massive boon when trying to build many characters.
How to get Echo Modifier in Wuwa
There are three ways to get Echo Modifier in Wuthering Waves. These include:
- Oscillated Coral store
- Pioneer Podcast
- Events
The Oscillated Coral store has five Echo Modifiers that players can buy for 60 Oscillated Corals each. The Pioneer Podcast (battle pass) also gives out six Echo Modifiers through the Public Channel.
Buying the Insider Channel in the Pioneer Podcast allows players to get a total of 30 Echo Modifiers, including the Public Channel.
The ongoing anniversary events in Version 2.3, Cube, Cubic n Cubie and Gilded Nightmarket also gives out Echo Modifiers that can be purchased with the respective event currencies. Future events are also likely to have the Echo Modifier as a limited-time reward.
How to use Echo Modifier in Wuwa
Using the Echo Modifier in Wuthering Waves is quite easy. Keep in mind that only 5-star echoes that aren’t boosted can be modified. Follow the steps below to modify an Echo in Wuwa using the Echo Modifier:
- Open the Data Bank via the menu.
- Click on the Data Modify option located at the very end
- Choose an Echo that you wish to modify
- Choose the stat that you want and modify. Your echo will now be modified with the selected stat.
Once the Echo Modifier has been used, you cannot revert the stat of an Echo. This item cannot be used to alter the substats as well. Therefore, think carefully and use this rare item wisely to get the best value out of it.
