Fortnite is set to have a Star Wars collaboration soon, in the form of Fortnite: Galactic Battle. Players will have to drive back the Imperial invasion from the islands, using whatever they have in their arsenal – including enlisting the help of other players.
To this extent, Epic Games has provided a roadmap of sorts which players can refer to in the section below, in order to better prepare for the journey ahead.

The Galactic Battle roadmap can be divided into multiple events, with strategic inclusions every few days. Players will be greeted with a series of in-game additions and events, which will be explained below:
- May 8 – Pull of the Force: Leia, Luke and Han Solo will arrive in Fortnite on May 8. Players can train with a hologram version of Mace Windu to earn a Purple Lightsaber and the Force Pull technique. Alternatively, one can also learn the Force Throw technique from Darth Maul’s hologram and earn Red Lightsabers in the process.
- May 15 – Chew on this: Chewbacca arrives on May 15, along with the Wookie Bowcaster weapon, in the loot pool. The CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster will also be a new addition to the game.
- May 22 – Mandalorian Rising: Mandalorians will join the game on this date, bringing with them a total of 4 classes – Heavy, Scout, Supply and Medic. The update also brings with it two new weapons (Ambian Sniper Rifle and WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols), along with a Mandalorian Jetpack.
- May 29 – Star Destroyer Bombardment: The Star Destroyer arrives, and players can pilot the ship to rain death from above. To control it, players will have to reach it first using the portal.
- June 7 – The Final Showdown/Death Star Sabotage: June 7 brings with it the climax of the Galactic Battle event – where players will take to space and face off against the devious Emperor Palpatine in a live, ‘in-game narrative event’.
