Lies of P ($30)

We have talked about souls like several times now; it’s a genre that exploded into popularity suddenly with the success of Dark Souls. Hidetaka Miyazaki had created a masterpiece, inventing a new sub-genre for action-adventure games.
Years later, games are still coming out with influences from FromSoftware’s action RPGs. One of these is Lies of P by the Korean developers at NEOWIZ. Black Friday sale on PlayStation is the right time to finally grab this game if you have been craving for some of the best souls-likes.
Sonic Crossworlds: Racing ($49)

When it comes to arcade Kart racers, it’s always Nintendo’s Mario Kart that is on everyone’s mind. But this year, a particular Sonic racing title just might have edged it out for us. We even listed it as one of our choices for the best sports games of the year.
Sonic Crossworlds: Racing is currently sitting at around $49 on the PlayStation store at a discounted price for Black Friday sale. While it may still be too much for some, you will have to see that it’s still a 30% discount compared to the base $70 price tag. This makes it a very good deal.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales ($30)

We have not been talking about PlayStation games on sale for the console itself, so let’s change that. Marvel’s Spider-Man was one of the best new superhero games in recent decades.
It reignited the love for web swinging across open-world cityscapes, which was found in the original PlayStation 2 Spider-Man 2. The game got a sequel with Miles Morales as the main character, taking over for Peter.
The biggest criticism of the game was that it charged full price for what seemed like a DLC quantity experience. But it’s still a great game, and it’s finally at a $30 discount for the Black Friday sale.
Final Fantasy XVI ($25)

We don’t think there is a single video game fan out there who has not heard about the Final Fantasy games. But still if you are the exception, then let us tell you that it is the single most popular JRPG franchise in the world.
While it lends its popularity completely to the seventh entry in the franchise, the games have since become big in their own right, with the latest entry coming up at number sixteen. The incredible thing about Final Fantasy XVI is that it was another transition for the franchise, going into the action combat genre.
With the game being at $25 discount during this Black Friday sale, now is the right time to pick it up on PlayStation 5.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ($35)

Let’s keep the Final Fantasy and PlayStation ball rolling with another entry to look out for during this Black Friday sale. For years, fans yearned for a remake of the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII, which we finally got in 2020.

It Takes Two ($10)

Josef Fares became an unforgettable figure in the gaming industry after his controversial remarks at the Game Awards. People expect him to have a fall off after that night, but he subverted expectations by releasing one of the best co-op games ever.
It Takes Two is one of the best co-op style games created by Hazelight Studios in recent years, and it went on to win the game of the year award as well. If you are looking for one of the best co-op puzzle game experiences this generation, then look no further than this title on PlayStation’s Black Friday sale.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition ($16)

When we think of the hack-and-slash game genre then there are a few really prominent titles that come to mind. Devil May Cry is one of those games, originally conceived as a game that would be a follow-up to Resident Evil 3, but then spawned into its own thing.
The franchise lay dormant for years until director Hideaki Itsuno finally came back to revive it with the fifth entry. If you have waited this long, you can finally purchase the special edition of the game, which adds Vergil, while this Black Friday lasts on the PlayStation Store.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black ($30)

The hack-and-slash ride does not end just yet. Earlier this year, Koei Tecmo announced that it was finally bringing back its flagship Ninja action franchise after a decade. We now finally have a fourth entry in the Ninja Gaiden franchise.
Koei Tecmo also surprised us by announcing that they are finally doing a Black Edition remaster for the second Ninja Gaiden game. It is at $30 for Black Friday sale on the PlayStation store, and trust us for this is a really good deal.
That is because the game was just recently released and is already at a 40% discount compared to the base $50. This is the perfect time to celebrate the year of the ninja.
Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition ($24)

It is quite surprising that we don’t have a horror title on this list yet, so let’s add one. We would recommend you check out Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition on this Black Friday PlayStation store sale.
It is the follow-up to Remedy Entertainment’s penultimate horror thriller franchise, which was originally created way back in 2010. Going through a series of promotional development cycles, the developers finally pulled off the impossible, and we got the game in 2023.
Halloween might be over now, but don’t let that keep you from some good scares this end of the year.
