A Taste of Everything is one of the longer side quests that you will encounter in Wuthering Waves. It automatically gets added to your log as soon as you start the Honorary Chef: Taste of Memories Tutorial Quest and you will need to go over town talking to a lot of NPCs and even crafting a weapon to complete it.
The mission can be a bit confusing if you aren’t sure of what you need to be doing next. However, A Taste of Everything does offer a good bit of Union EXP, Astrite, and Shell Credits, which is why it’s recommended that you take the time to complete it.
How to start A Taste of Everything in Wuthering Waves
The side mission will automatically get added to your log as soon as you start the Honorary Chef: Taste of Memories Tutorial Quest. There are several NPCs you will need to talk to and even craft certain items to round out the mission.
How to complete A Taste of Everything in Wuthering Waves
Once the side quest is active, here are the steps you will need to follow in order to complete it:
Step 1: Find and Talk to Mahe in the Grocery Shop
Make your way to the quest marker in the grocery store where you will find Mahe behind a shop counter. Interact with him and run through all of his dialogs and then pick the following options:
- Hmm? There is clearly something going on between them.
- I see. They’re doing the whole “acting-cold-but-secretly-caring” thing right?
- Uncle Mahe’s got quite the collection here
- Sure! I will
- Are we looking in the Wrong direction?
You will get a Mahe Special Ingredient Pack after the conversation is done.
Step 2: Find and talk to Koko at the Shifang Pharmacy
Make your way to the next quest marker which will lead you to the Shifang Pharmacy. You will meet Koko there. Interact with her and pick the following dialog options:
- Wow, quite the enthusiastic welcome there.
- Since we know the ingredients required, Chixia and I will head out to grab what we need.
- Thanks for reminding me.
- The answer was right infront of us all along.
Once the conversation ends you will receive Koko’s special “Luohan Cleanwater”.
Step 3: Ask Uncle Wei about the spoon
To find Uncle Wei make your way to the northeast of Jinzhou and then talk to the NPC. Now pick the following dialogs when interacting with him:
- Uncle Wei no need to tease her.
- A Secret Dish
- So that’s the Authentic Essence Medley Soup
- I feel bad for taking them
For the next part of the mission, you will be required to craft a weapon so use the terminal which is behind Uncle Wei. You will need to use the Scarletthorn which the NPC just gave you to craft Guardian Sword.
Now talk to Uncle Wei again when done, and after completing the conversation, move on to the next step.
Step 4: Synthesize what you want
Head to the Synthesizer, interact with it, and make a “Basic Revival Inhaler”. Chixia will give you the necessary resources for making it, so craft the product at the terminal.
Now head back to Chixia and exhaust all of her dialogs. Once done, you can move on to the final part of A Taste of Everything in Wuthering Waves.
Step 5: Explain the situation to Panhua and make the dish
Make your way to Panhua by following the quest marker and then share the authentic recipe for Essence Medley Soup with her. Now during the conversation pick the dialog “Can’t agree more”.
The final section will be to use the cooking stove there to make the dish whose recipe you just unlocked. Interact with it and craft the Essence Medley Soup.
Talk to Panhua again and pick these dialog options:
- It’s not just “typical” I guess
- Maybe I’m the Legendary god of cooking
Rewards for completing A Taste of Everything in Wuthering Waves
Round out A Taste of Everything in Wuthering Waves by talking to Chixia and you will be rewarded with the following upon completion:
- 250x Union EXP
- 20x Astrite
- 3x Medium Resonance Potion
- 3x Medium Energy Core
While a very dialog-heavy sidequest to complete it’s advised that you invest some time to do it as the rewards can come in handy during the early stages of Kuro Games’ RPG.
