Best PC settings for Wuchang Fallen Feathers

Wuchang Fallen Feathers is finally here, out for both consoles and PCs. The game is built using the Unreal Engine 5 game engine, and packs some really cool features such as DLSS and frame generation. The PC port also appears to be visually striking, all while mandating some rather modest system requirements.

However, adjusting a few of these settings can help a lot in terms of in-game performance. As such, we will be providing a series of optimized defaults, aiming for 60 FPS gameplay at 1440p or higher resolutions – assuming you meet the recommended requirements, that is. Do keep in mind that the current state of the game is far from ideal, and as such, you will experience FPS drops and jitter.

  • Frame Generation: Off; introduces additional ghosting and latency when enabled

Overall, Wuchang Fallen Feathers seems to suffer from the same issues plaguing other Unreal Engine 5 games as of late – poor optimization. Do not expect the game to run well without heavy use of an upscaler such as DLSS or FSR.

The game also lacks FSR 4 support, which is quite unfortunate. You can always choose to dial back the settings to Medium or even Low in an attempt to boost FPS, but be warned that image quality will suffer.
