Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon can be best described as a first-person, open world RPG that has players thrust into the world of a dark, fantasy realm – based on Arthurian legends of old.
The game is currently available for PCs and consoles, and is surprisingly light in terms of its PC system requirements. The game appears to be (mostly) well optimized, but having a few settings tweaked is crucial to ensuring a smooth 60 frames per second.

- Fullscreen: Borderless; can be swapped to Windowed if you want to multi-task
- Resolution: 2560×1440; swap to your display’s native resolution
- VSync: Off; always keep disabled
- Target FPS: 120; can be left uncapped or set to 60 in the case of handhelds
- Brightness: User preference – stick to defaults if not sure
- Field of View: 100; can be increased as per user preference (90-120)
- Field of View Modifier Strength: 100%; keep at default value

- Dynamic Resolution: DLSS/STP; DLSS is only available for Nvidia RTX GPUs
- Quality: Balanced; drop down to Performance if you have a weaker system

- View Distance: 40%; can be increased on higher end systems
- Texture Quality: High; drop to Medium or Low if you have 8 GB VRAM or lower

It should be noted that the game lacks XeSS or FSR upscaling options. For those without an Nvidia RTX GPU, try using the game engine’s built-in STP upscaler instead.
