The League of Legends LCS Summer 2024 will begin on June 15, 2024. This time, there are multiple changes to the tournament format and the rosters. Eight North American teams will fight for the trophy and only the top three teams will qualify for the LoL Worlds 2024. Notably, the LCS event will occur at the Riot Games Arena located in Los Angeles, California.

The LCS Summer 2024 will feature the same eight teams from the LCS Spring split. Although all teams haven’t confirmed their official rosters yet, the expected lineups for each participating team are shown below:

League of Legends LCS Summer 2024: Format and schedule
There are some notable format changes to the LCS Summer 2024 group stage as well as the playoff stage. Unlike the previous LCS split, the group matches will be played in a best-of-three format. Thus, all of the eight teams will be seven best-of-three series each.
After seven weeks of group stage matches, the top six teams will qualify for the LCS playoff stage. Subsequently, the top three teams will book their spot at the Worlds 2024.
