The Digifarm is going to be one of the more important areas that you will need to make the most of, especially when it comes to minmaxing your party in Digimon Story Time Stranger. The farm is the best way to train your Digimon in the JRPG, and you can even decorate the globe in whichever way you want, creating small pastures of forests, deserts, frozen land, and more.
So if you are looking to make the most of the Digifarm in Digimon Story Time Journey, then the guide below will help you out.
How to access the Digifarm in Digimon Story Time Journey
To be able to access the Digifarm in Time Journey, you will first need to unlock it. To do that, you will need to progress through the game a fair bit and atleast beat the second boss Raremon. Once that is done, there will be some cutscenes where you find out that you have travelled back in time.
Then you will find yourself in the back alleys of Shinjuku, where you will locate the door to the In-Between Theater. Once there, talk to Mirei Mikagura at the counter and select the option to head into your Digifarm.

How to use the Digifarm in Digimon Story Time Journey
The Digifarm is a unique virtual space where you will get to place your Digimon, allowing them to train and relax. Digimon placed in the farm will gain experience, and it is a good way to store away the monsters that you want to passively train and use later.
You will be able to place a total of 30 Digimon in your farm at once, and you will also be able to place a maximum of 250 Decorations.
Here is a list of everything that you will be able to do in your Digifarm in Digimon Story Time Journey:
1) Decorating the farm
Apart from placing Digimon in your farm, the other important thing that you will be able to do there is to decorate it with items. You can adjust the tiles there or place a decorative item on the tiles to make a small habitat for the Digimon that are there.
However, do keep in mind that tile customization and decorations are cosmetic in nature. They will help boost your Digimon stats in any way by influencing the training results.
You will be able to unlock new decoration items by just playing the game and completing certain main and side quests. You can even craft decorations at Zudomon’s smity in Central Town; however, you will need certain raw materials for it, which can be obtained by just completing missions and exploring the maps.

2) Training Digimon and changing their Personality
Now, the most important function of the Digifarm is to Train your Digimon and also change their Personality to a trait of your choosing. You can use Training Sets in the farm to increase the stats of your Digimon.
This will usually take 30 real-time minutes to complete; however, you will be able to reduce the time by unlocking specific Agent Skills or using the in-game currency to instantly complete training. Also, do keep in mind that a higher-level training set will need more training time.
These Training Sets are also used to change the Personality Trait of Digimon, so if you are looking to scale one of their stats more than the others, make sure to use the appropriate set.
You will be able to use Training Sets an unlimited number of times, but you can concurrently use as many sets as you own. So if you want to use the same training set for both Greymon and Garurumon, then you will need to own two of that set.
Moreover, do keep in mind that using a training set once will not immediately shift a Digimon’s Personality. You you really want to change it to a particular trait, then you will need to use that set repeatedly to finally gain the effect.
How to get Training Sets?
Training sets are obtained as a quest reward or as a drop from treasure chests. Another very reliable way of getting Training Sets will be to craft them at Sudomon’s Smithy in Central Town. However, much like with Decorative items, you will need the proper raw materials to craft them.
The number of available Training Sets will go up as you complete more missions and side content in the game.

3) Increase bond with Digimon
The Digifarm is another great way of improving your bond with your Digimon in Time Stranger. While the most straightforward way of increasing our bond with them will be through using them in battle, Digivolving and De-Digivolving them, the farm adds another alternative to the process.
In the Digifarm, you will be able to feed your monster Digifood, which will automatically raise their Bond level. So if you are passively training some Digimon on the farm, this item comes in very handy.
This is because Bond and Talent levels play a key part in transferring bonus stats when you level up Digimon, Digivolve them, or De-Digivolve them. They are a core mechanic when it comes to minmaxing your party for the late game.
