How to get more Lucre fast in Visions of Mana

Lucre is the main currency in Visions of Mana which is used in purchasing new equipment and items before a fight. It’s easy to run out of money if you are just rushing through the narrative, however, you are going to have a lot of Lucre stored up if you are completing some of the various side activities in the JRPG.

The guide below will go over some of the best ways of making money in Visions of Mana.

Best ways of making Lucre (money) in Visions of Mana

1) Make sure you are opening all the chests on the map

Chests are one of the best sources of Lucre in the game. As you make your way through the chapters, each region will have a lot of areas that you can explore to obtain these chests.

Side quests Visions of Mana

So make sure that you are exploring every part of a new area and not missing out on these.

Moreover, apart from money, these chests will also offer Goddess Scales. The Scales are a rare consumable resource that you use to respec your characters in Visions of Mana.

2) Take on and complete all the side quests

As you make your way through the narrative, you will be able to unlock more side quests in the RPG. In the initial chapters, these aren’t usually as difficult, however, it does get harder once you progress to the late game.

Additionally, side quests are a great source of other resources as well. They will help you get more Gold Clovers which you can then turn into Elemental Plots and level up your characters.

In chapter 6 and later, completing side quests will also give you access to most of the ultimate weapons and armor for your characters.

3) Use Incense and Fortuneflies

Ample Incense and Rich Incense are two items that will let you increase the amount of Lucre obtained during a battle. Ample Incense will give a 10% boost, while Rich Incense will provide a 15% boost.

These bonuses last for 10 minutes so make sure you have a good amount of them before you go out farming Lucre by beating monsters.

Visions of Mana Fortuneflies

Additionally, you will be able to stack their effects by collecting Fortuneflies. They respawn after some time in the same location, so make sure you are going back and collecting them.

Monsters in the later stages of the game grant a lot of Lucre, so if you are struggling with purchasing items and equipment, you can try out this method. While it’s very grindy, it is one of the more reliable methods.
