As you make your way through the various chapters in Visions of Mana you will very likely be looking for ways to respec your characters in the game. Each class comes with its own Elemental Plot and abilities that you unlock while progressing.
So you might want to respec your character once you have unlocked a new class that you want to try out in the JRPG. However, the game doesn’t exactly tell you how to go about refunding all the points that you have invested in your character, which makes it quite confusing for some in the community.
How to Respec Elemental Plot in Visions of Mana
You will be able to respec the Elemental Plot by using the Goddess Scale item. The resource can be obtained initially in Mylos Woods (second zone) as soon as Chapter 5 starts.
Just make sure that you have beaten Gareth, Benevodon of Earth, and obtained th Lumina Lantern elemental vessel. Once you have it, head back to the area and search for hidden treasure like the Goddess Scales with the item.
The Scales are a consumable resource and you will lose it when used. But once you do, you will get back all the points that you have used in leveling your class and unlocking new skills.
Additionally, if you’ve used Gold Clovers to create Elemental Points, you will get them back as well. However, they will remain as Elemental Points on the character and will not be converted back into Gold Clovers.
Where to find Goddess Scales in Visions of Mana?
You will be able to get your hands on a lot more Goddess Scales in the later chapters of Visions of Mana. Once you reach Chapters 6 and 7 you are likely to have enough to respec each character once.
You will also get to purchase five of them from the Dudbear Store. Each Goddess Scale costs 20 Grizzly Syrup, so make sure you have enough of the resources to buy it.
Additionally, once you have completed the main narrative, you will get an additional five Goddess Scales for purchase in the Dudbear Store.
Some other guaranteed ways of getting Goddess Scales will be :
- These quests Adeptus Rabite’ and ‘Scales of the Problem’ will reward you with one Goddess Scale each. These missions will unlock after you reach Chapter Seven.
- Many chests in Chapter 7 will offer a scale. Make sure to look for these chests in the Wind Sanctum and Floating Isle of Ulul.
Why should you Respec your characters in Visions of Mana?
A full character respec is going to be very useful when it comes to optimizing your characters for the late game. Additionally, by switching between classes with your characters, you will also be able to get more Gold Clovers fast.
This is because if you are sticking to a single class for a character, getting more Gold Clovers and additional Elemental Points can take a lot of time as you keep leveling up with them. Switching classes will let you get more Gold Clovers fast, helping the character get more powerful before the end-game grind.
