The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered allows for players to join a variety of in-game guilds, of which the Thieves Guild is one of the many available options. The Thieves Guild is, as its name implies – a rag-tag group of pickpockets and bandits.

How to easily join the Thieves Guild in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered
To begin, try looking around for wanted posters of the Gray Fox within the Imperial City. These posters aren’t exactly too difficult to find. Once near a poster, press E to interact with it, and follow the steps in sequence:
- Start talking to nearby guards, and specifically ask them about the Gray Fox.
- Keep asking the nearby guards until you hear one of them mention how the beggars love Gray Fox.
- You will now be directed to head to the Waterfront District. Make your way over there.
- Talk to Puny Ancus, one of the beggars.
- Bribe him (with a sufficient amount of Disposition – at least 80) to get him to reveal more information about the Thieves Guild.
- Select the option that says, ‘Yes. I Want to work with him’.
- Next, head on over to the Garden of Dareloth at midnight.
- Wait for Armand Christophe to arrive, and speak with him about the Gray Fox.
- Again, you will also require a sufficiently high amount of Disposition (60+) in order to get him to spill the beans.
- Begin the ‘May the Best Thief Win’ quest. Save, and partake in a race of sorts against two other NPC thieves.
- Grab the diary as instructed, within Amantius Allectus’ house – above the desk. This particular house is located at the east section of the Temple District.
With the diary in tow, head back to the Garden of Dareloth at midnight. Hand it over to Armand to conclude the quest and finally join the Thieves Guild. Assuming you fail to reach it in time, consider reloading the save you created in the earlier step.
