How to get and use Yarn in Black Myth Wukong

Here are some of the best ways of obtaining Yarn in Black Myth Wukong:

1) Purchase it from the Keeper’s Shrine

Each Keeper’s Shrine comes with a shop that you can access to purchase a variety of crafting resources like Refined Iron Sand or stat upgrade materials like the Mind Cores. Yarn is also one of the many items that you will be able to purchase with Will during the early stages of the narrative.

However, do keep in mind that the shop will sell four Yarn at a time. It will then refill its stock every day, so the amount of Yarn you purchase in one go will likely be enough for just one piece of armor and not the complete set.

2) Defeat mobs and elite enemies

In the early chapters, the standard enemies have a very small chance to drop Yarn after you beat them. However, this farming method might not be too reliable.

Alternatively, elite enemies including the Yaoguai Chiefs usually drop rare crafting resources when defeated. So make sure you are exploring the various sections of each region including secret areas so that you are not missing out on side bosses.

3) Opening chests

Opening rare wooden chests is also likely to give you some yarn along with other crafting materials like Silk.

Once you have enough Yarn you will be able to craft new armor in the initial chapters of Black Myth Wukong. Simply go to the Craft Armor option at a Shrine and then make the armament.

Making just one piece of armor will likely take just one Yarn, however, you will need a lot of this resource if you are planning to make the entire set.
