On May 4, Twitch streamer Marlon also known as Marlon3lg found himself embroiled in a controversy where a former associate accused him of not being real and honest with his fans and viewers.
According to the associate, the streamer had allegedly created a “fake image” of himself online, and was allegedly selling his pictures to other men on the internet.
Although silent initially, Marlon3lg addressed the controversy with a rather scathing response, standing up for himself, in light of all the accusations levied against him.
During a stream on May 5, the streamer addressed these allegations, and said that he would do it again for the money. Furthermore, he also lashed out at his viewers because he claims to have spoken about it previously, but new viewers don’t know anything about that.
Hey, send pics in your boxers standing like this in front of a mirror, looking stupid.’ Okay! I’ll send that sh*t every day, f**k is you talking about? Let me relax, let me calm down. Because I know I’ll hustle for my own sh*t.

How many times have I not told you all? I used to send pictures to anybody who wanted. Yes or no? But the new people would never know that, though, because they are not the real viewers.

So far, it doesn’t seem like the controversy has blown over, but most of his viewers and fans are speaking in his favor with many claiming that he’s admitting to something that many would shy away from.
In light of the controversy, some have compared Marlon to content creators on a popular website known for selling adult content, while some have asked him to create an account on the same platform as well.
Streamers like Adin Ross have also come out in Marlon’s support over the debacle, and have shown solidarity, indicating that what the streamer did was the correct way to go about it.
